Most Expensive City in the World

Luanda was named the most expensive city in the world for expats in 2011....this experience will be the ultimate test of my frugalness.

48 hours and approximately 12 baguettes later,  I have finally arrived in Luanda. I spent the day getting settled in and resting.

12 Hours in Paris

The great thing about spending the day in Paris, due to a 12 hour layover, is that it's not a destination I would every choose for a vacation. I prefer the more exotic or hard core locales. After walking around for about 10 minutes, I thought to myself, "Ohhhhhh, this is why Paris is a big deal."
